Going to the cinema

The weather sucks today. The only logical thing to do to kill time is to go to the cinema. It’s my favourite thing, and I get to do it tonight. I am going to watch See How They Run, again. I saw it a couple of weeks ago, and I am seeing it again. It’s kind of obvious, but, if I don’t mind seeing a film in the cinema for a second time, it must be good. I am very excited. I wrote a poem about going to the cinema recently. I don’t think I will share it because I may want to submit it to competitions. It’s that good. I am that good. It’s a perfectly fine poem.

As humans, bad weather is rarely received well. Being Irish, you would think I would be used to the bad weather. I am, but it doesn’t make it any less annoying. It brings back the feelings we all had during the pandemic years. It will pass, though. I always say I like the weather this time of year, but rain is never what I mean. It’s those cold days. The days when I have to wear a woolly hat and scarf unless I want to get a mighty cold. I am currently fighting a head cold because I didn’t follow my tradition early enough this year, but that is beside the point.

I hope by the time this post is published, the weather is less wet and more wintery. That is what I live for this time of year. Early readers will know I don’t like going to the beach. I wrote about that during the summer. The summer is truly over now, and I am okay with that.

That is all I have to say today. I hope the weather is acceptable wherever you are. Stay dry or stay warm. Whatever needs be. Have a lovely evening. Thank you for reading.

Thank you for your time.
