Monday. Moaning. Friday. Fiction.

I have finally cracked it, ladies and gentlemen. Having started this blog a little over half a year ago, I have figured out how it should run. This may be all happy and positive foresight that will end up terribly, but I am sticking to my guns for now. How did I come to realise all these plans? Good question. To answer, I need to take you to my bed. Don’t worry. It’s not like that.

As a writer and creative, you hear a lot about how artists and writers have their little hacks to get inspiration and capture it at the right time. At the start of the year, I put a little notebook (one of my many, many…many unused ones) and left it there on the off chance I would have an idea that would strike at the stroke of midnight. This happened for the first time the other night, and I wrote it down.

Monday. Moaning. Friday. Fiction. That’s it! Going forward, my twice-weekly blog will fall on two days: Monday and Friday. Monday will be much like this. Just me talking about life in general and getting all these thoughts out of the ol’ noggin. I will also post any official writer-y business once I figure out what I am doing there. Hey, maybe that will come to me tomorrow night. Who knows?

Fridays will be a bit different. I have posted some fiction work here and want to do it again. These will be little pieces that I don’t see going anywhere else. I will keep all the decent ones for myself. Sorry. I will also give some updates on some more significant creative projects I am working on. The biggest one in the works is my debut poetry collection. So come along every Friday and see how much progress I have made.

That’s it. I am writing this and posting it on a Thursday. You can look forward to some Friday Fiction tomorrow at 5 pm. My dog has been barking the entire time I have written this. Please help me wish she would stop soon. I love you, Pepper. You’re not reading this. You are too busy.

Thank you for reading, and thank you for all the support up until this point. I feel like I am onto something. You are doing great, too, by the way. I am proud of you.

Thank you for reading. See you tomorrow. Thank you for your time.
