Movember

Happy Movember everyone! We are now three days in, and my moustache is in full bloom. I have been taking part in Movember for the past couple of years now. Even during that time when we all had to wear masks. Nobody could see my beautiful ‘stache but I can assure you it was there.

For those who don’t know. Movember is a charity that raises funds for men’s mental health and suicide prevention, testicular cancer, and prostate cancer. For me, mental health and suicide prevention is the most important aspect. November can be a gloomy month for everyone. We are entering dark days and nights; it’s cold and it can feel very isolating. I do know of people (both men and women) who have lost their battles with mental health around this time of year. Thankfully, charities like Movember are trying to change that. They work year-round.

With all this being said, here is a link to my donation page. I would be eternally grateful if you would throw a few quid my way. I don’t have to tell you that I don’t get anything in return. That’s how charity works. I would really like to reach my target. If you are not in a position to donate, then please share my page or anyone else’s page whom you see on social media or elsewhere. It makes a huge difference and, again, it doesn’t cost anything.

Look after yourself this month too. Talk to someone you trust. I know I will be checking in with some people imminently. It’s how we stay sane as humans. Thank you for reading. Please donate if you can. Thank you for your time.
