The blog is still here.

I disappeared from the blog for a while. As it is the end of the year, I felt it was right to write one final blog before my first blog of 2025. Welcome to Monday (that’s right, it is Monday). Let's have a bit of a catch-up.

One of my digital journal apps reminded me of what I was journaling about earlier. One of these things was being unemployed. It is crazy to think that this time last year I was jobless and refused to get a seasonal work job because I had enough of working in retail. I am glad I trusted the process and waited for a decent job. I am delighted that I found a job I like. I am so happy I could enjoy Christmas this year and not have to worry about punching a clock over the Christmas period.

My job has taken a lot of my energy and focus. This has been both a good thing and a bad thing. It has been a good thing because I have found a bit of purpose in my day that isn’t thinking or writing creatively. I still have much to learn regarding how my workplace runs and operates. Unfortunately, this has left little time and energy to be creatively fulfilled this year. I hope to change that in 2025. I still think about this blog daily and how to improve it. That, I can assure you.

This is to say that the blog is not dead. I look forward to a fresher start in the New Year. On Friday, I may share something creative to ring in 2025 properly. I have no idea what that will be yet, but I guess I have a week to decide.
