Some haikus

Its Friday. At the time of publication, I hope to be in my hometown of Waterford City with Kurt and maybe some other people. Not having my writers' group to use for Friday blogs is really starting to catch up with me. One thing I could do is some shameless self-promotion (if this blog isn’t enough). I have a couple of Instagram accounts. I hate to brag. One of them is solely dedicated to my poetry. I have started sharing some haikus on it. In my job, I use Canva a lot. I am slowly getting the hang of it. Here are a couple of haikus, some of which I have already shared on my poetry Instagram (@finbrennanpoet, by the way).

Tech

Tech is killing me

It knows what it is doing

I hate waiting, man

Antsy

Ants are running free

My head is feeling quite odd

I hope this stops soon

Poems

Poems are for the free

They are for the winners too

Poems are for us all

Monster

The Monster can drains

I made a choice on this night

No sleep for me now

I hope to start recording some more videos for it soon, as well as some voiceover stuff. Thanks for following my Instagram account if you have already. I appreciate it immensely.
