Candles

I showed up today. I didn’t think I had the time, but I am here. It happened again, ladies and gentlemen. Yesterday I was driving and thought of a couple of things to write about. I can’t say for certain, but I am pretty sure I stupidly thought I would remember. Write it down, as my mother would say.

Here’s what I will talk about today: candles. I bought two candles on the internet recently. They arrived the other day. When I was money happy, I thought deeply about my ideal workspace. After some research, I found that many people have candles on their desks. It sounded like a good idea and at the end of the day, I am happy with my purchase.

I bought them from The School Of Life. Not a sponsor. One of them has “The Republic” engraved on the side. It’s a reference to Plato’s The Republic. I bought the book recently. I haven’t read it yet, but I plan to. I plan to read a lot of books. That’s a whole other blog post.

The other one has “City of Tomorrow” engraved on the side. It’s a reference to Le Corbusier, an architect. I don’t think he has a book. I’ll have to look into it at some point.

That’s all I have to say today. Things are kind of boring these days. I’m sure there will be more to talk about tomorrow. Buy some candles. They are great. They relax the heck out of me.

Thank you for reading and thank you for your time.
